The Aconcagua peak is 6959 metres high and is crowned as the "summit of the Americas". It is located 180 km from Mendoza city. Camp is at Plaza de Mulas (4260 m) for those who wish to conquer its peak. There are beautiful views of the glaciar, and archeological sites to visit. Open to the public between November 15 till March 15.
